Discover the Appeal of Long-Lasting Furniture at Tendo Mokko's Showroom

Tendo Mokko is a furniture manufacturer founded in Tendo, Yamagata, in 1940. It was among Japan's first companies to put molded plywood into practical use, layering thin sheets of wood and shaping them in molds. Since then, it has collaborated with architects and designers in Japan and abroad to make furniture for homes, hotels, offices and public facilities. Many products, including Sori Yanagi's Butterfly Stool, have received design awards and entered museum collections worldwide.
At the Osaka showroom, visitors can discover furniture that has remained loved over many years. During SALONE, signs will introduce the origins and design stories of individual products. Experience their comfort and materials first-hand while learning about Tendo Mokko's craftsmanship.
