In Ligne Roset, Ligne means collection and Roset is the founder's name: the name means Roset Collection.
The company behind the brand began in 1860 in Briord, near Lyon, France, as a small woodworking workshop with around 30 employees. It continued to evolve, including the launch of contemporary furniture made in collaboration with designers.
Today, approximately 150 designers work with Ligne Roset. Alongside sofas and cabinet furniture, the brand offers dining furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories as a complete collection. Its refined designs and wide selection of fabrics and colors introduced each year continue to attract support worldwide.
Now one of France's leading international brands, it has more than 700 sales locations in around 50 countries. In Japan, it operates eight dedicated stores in Tokyo (Ginza, Roppongi and Shinjuku), Yamanashi (Kofu), Aichi (Nagoya), Osaka (Umeda and Shinsaibashi) and Fukuoka (Hakata).
