From Graphic Design to Graphic Art

As a graphic designer, I participate in international poster exhibitions, including biennales around the world.
About the exhibited work
Recent advances in AI have made it possible to generate images from prompts. Can expression be created using automatically generated images that have never actually been seen? This work seeks to move beyond the opposition between analog reality and digital virtuality through sublation, constructing expression as a higher-order reality.
Over 3.5 billion years, life has diversified and evolved while adapting to environmental change. Art has likewise developed from early mural painting through religious and court painting, Impressionism and applied arts. Under the influence of diverse electronic media, modern and contemporary art has become less materially distinct, with much of it moving toward planned design. Yet I believe humans themselves, at the forefront of expression and evolution, can develop into higher-order expression.
The work manually collages individually generated images into a composition originally intended to span five meters. It is an attempt to use generated images as an extension of human perception, creating the first visual in the Eroding Field of Vision series, where reality and virtuality contend.
