ooc archive: Tracing Thought

Architecture cannot be explained through its finished appearance alone. Before a space comes into being, countless sketches, models, experiments and on-site decisions accumulate. Yet much of this disappears from public view once the project is complete.
ooc is an architectural practice working across architecture, interiors, furniture, graphics and community development. The exhibition ooc archive presents not only photographs of completed projects, but also an archive of rarely seen design processes: early sketches, study models, computer-generated images, drawings, prototypes and construction records.
Encountering the thinking, choices and uncertainties behind a finished work may change how you see architecture and design. We aim to offer each visitor an opportunity to consider what making means.
