Kobe Shoin University Exhibition — Work in Progress

The Department of Fashion and Housing Design in Kobe Shoin University's Faculty of Human Sciences uses design and making to creatively address lifestyle-related challenges. This exhibition focuses on clothing, accessories and other fashion items students are developing for their graduation research.
Each student began with a theme based on personal interests, then sought to connect it through research with social issues such as the use of waste materials and local industries. The completed works are scheduled to be presented in a fashion show and exhibition during the university festival on Saturday, November 7.
We chose to participate as a valuable opportunity for students to develop their expressive and presentation skills. We also hope that the diverse exhibits and exchanges with visitors will inspire learning that informs their future work.
